Indian Startups which made difference

  (where ideas get wings)

Yes, the word itself has the meaning in it. Startup is an idea which is newly emerged, growing business that aims at either an innovative product or service.
Let me introduce you to the Startups that were a hit and that made a huge impact on day-to-day life. These few are my favorite startups whose success is quite evident.

1.Flipkart

Flipkart is an E-Commerce company started in 2007 founded by Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal. It was a new Idea in India and not everybody was comfortable with making online purchases unlike today. What made it a huge it with customers were its prompt delivery, cash on delivery and discounts. Flipkart first started as online E-Retail Bookstore. Now, it is one of the leading online shopping website.

2.ID Foods
I remember seeing ID Foods Dosa batter along with Milk packets which was sold by the local milk vendor.
ID foods was founded in the year 2006 in Bangalore by P.C.Mustafa. They first started with Kirana customers and it was a huge hit.Their success mantra was offering 100% natural product which appealed to the masses. Fresh food business is risky but ID foods have proved it wrong. It is the leading fresh food industry.

3.HealthifyMe
HealthifyMe is an Indian digital weight loss and healthy eating App that provides fitness services. This App was founded in the year 2012 by Tushar Vashisht, Mathew Cherian and Sachin Shenoy. This app helps you to keep a record of your daily intake of carbohydrates, Proteins, and Fat. It also keeps a record of water intake and your daily Exercise goals.
The app has Fitness trainers and Yoga coaches with premium subscription

4.Hike
Started in the year 2012, Its an Indian messaging App. The app introduced free text messaging anywhere in India which was new in it’s Kind.
It is famous for its chat themes, hidden chats, Emojis and Regional stickers. It also gives you latest news updates and assistance from a chat-bot named Natasha.

5.URBAN Ladder
Urban ladder is an online furniture seller started in the year 2012, by Ashish Goel and Rajiv Srivatsa.
The idea of online purchasing of furniture was something which was risky. The customer has to be satisfied with the product he buys. Urban Ladder showcase and delivers all the products it offers.

The above five examples were the ones which provided value for the shift in Indian Consumer thinking.
Fast moving consumer generation buys the idea of any serving startup which makes their life fast and efficient.
With the digital Era picking up in the country, there lies an opportunity in every aspect of consumer business.
